Corporate design
When hairdressers Björn Hartung and Holger Hölkeskamp decided to open their salon on Stresemann Straße in Düsseldorf, they asked ZORA to design their logo and stationery system. The design is somewhat inspired by Tim Burton’s Edward Scissorhands and the German tale of Struwelpeter, featuring a larger-than-live pair of scissors as one characteristic element of the brand. The business cards are printed by hand on an old-fashioned letterpress machine. The pressure applied in process creates the beautiful handmade emboss-effect. Letterpress printing by Letterpress 77.
