Esprit International

E-story

The E-story tells the history of Esprit in an interactive cartoon-style. Milestones of the company’s history were turned into short interactive episodes, starring the people that shaped the company, its spirit and success. Our favorite remains the 1979 episode in which John Casado designs the famous Esprit stencil effect logo. Or wait – is it Susie and Doug Tompkins selling clothes out of the back of their station wagon? It’s got to be Ettore Sottsass presenting the first Esprit store in Cologne... . Best if you decide for yourself. Illustration and animation by Max Fiedler; sound design by Oli Salkic.
