After four years of solid working experience in a broad range of print- and web-based work Steffi is promoted Art Director in November 2010. Congratulations!

| 2006 | Steffi graduates with a Diploma
in Visual Communication/Graphic Design from the University
of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf. After a few months as a freelance
designer Steffi joins ZORA as Junior Art Director. Herrensahne*, the independent
comic magazine she is a part of, is exhibited at the International Comicsalon Erlangen. |
| 2005 | Herrensahne wins the ICOM-Independent Comic Award as “Best Fanzine” and
is invited to show Komik Kubus 2 at the international comic festival Fumetto in Luzern, Switzerland. Bilder ohne Kamera (Images sans
apparail), a student group exhibition is shown in Besançon, France and
Prague. Comic Tapete, an installation of comic art by
Herrensahne, is exhibited at Captain Flingern Laundromat. Steffi
also participates in Klanggestalten, another group exhibition at the
University of Applied Sciences, Düsseldorf. |
| 2004 | Herrensahne exhibits »Voulez-vous déjà-vu avec moi?« and is
awarded a ‘Golden Hrtn’ at the Comicfestival Heftich, Hamburg. Bilder ohne
Kamera is on show at the University of Applied Sciences, Düsseldorf and the
Photokina Cologne. |
| 2003 | Steffi wins 3rd prize at the 3M Creative Competition (in
collaboration with Max Fiedler). During
Düsseldorf’s “Museum Night” Herrensahne’s »In bester Gesellschaft» is
exhibited at damenundherren e.v and
Komik Kubus 1, an installation of comic art, is shown at
Architektionale Schnitte in Düsseldorf. |
| 2002 | In 2002 Steffi’s animated movie Mirza is recognized at
e-talents.net. Herrensahne’s »Sahnestars on 45« is shown at
damenundherren e.v and »Für eine Handvoll Euro« is shown at another
independent exhibition space in Düsseldorf. . |
| 2000 | After an internship at Grey World Wide, Steffi begins to study Visual
Communication/Graphic Design at the University of Applied Sciences in
Düsseldorf. While a student she works as a freelancer designer at 804© GRAPHIC DESIGN and joins the
independent comic magazine Herrensahne. *literally “Gentlemen’s Cream” - traditional name for a type of dark German chocolate cake |
